The Jasper is considered a relaxation stone and encourages contentment, compassion, tranquility and healing. It is considered a variety of the chalcedony (microcrystalline variety of the quartz). We frequently utilize the Jasper stone in our designs because of it’s variety of colors. Variations include: Yellow, Red, Picture, Picasso, Ocean, Leopard, Mookaite, Kambaba, Green, Fancy, Dalmatian, Breccrated and Black.  According to the Bible this stone is considered a direct gift from God and would be the first foundation stone of New Jerusalem. Eqyptians used this stone to increase sexual energy. In Native American and some Asian cultures, the Jasper is regarded as a rain and healing stone and if often worn to promote mental progress. If you know someone who is thinking about doing something dangerous (and will potentially hurt someone) a Jasper stone can help retrain that person’s desire.
